Kirklees Supply Service
Kirklees Supply Service (KSS) currently recruits supply teachers, invigilators and administration staff onto its register of supply staff and provides a one-stop service for schools to make a single telephone call in the event of them needing supply cover.
KSS was launched in 2004 in partnership with schools, teacher unions and the local authority. KSS is a non profit making service within Kirklees LA and any profits made are put back into the development of the service. During the academic year 2007/2008 KSS had a 90% success rate in meeting school’s needs.
KSS endeavours to be an ethical service providing staff with pay rates in line with national and local conditions of service, training and development opportunities and support for individual career aspirations.
KSS wants to hear from individuals who would like to work on a supply basis in Kirklees Schools.
